Washing machine’s drain pump filter is jammed, cannot be removed
Issue
- Clogged washing machine filter
- Stuck drain filter
- The drain filter in the washing machine cannot be removed
Applies to
- Front Load Washer
- Front Load Washer Dryer
Solution
The lint filters in our washing machines are firmly secured and tightened to provide effective protection against leaks.
- Deactivate the appliance and turn off and unplug at the electrical supply socket.
- Turn the filter 180 degrees in anti-clockwise direction to open it.
- If foreign objects get into the filter, the filter may become jammed.
- Try to use a tool (e.g. pliers) to loosen or remove the filter, but do not use too much force so as not to damage the plastic elements.
