Washing machine or Dryer displays padlock icon or LOC

Issue

• The washing machine won't start the programme and displays only a padlock or LOC.
• The washing machine won't start the programme and the icon “LOC” will flash on display 3 times along with buzzer sound.

Solution

Your appliance is provided with CHILD SAFETY LOCK which permits you to leave the appliance unsupervised with the door closed without having to worry that children might be injured by or cause damage to the appliance.

• When the child lock is engaged it will stop you from performing any action (except for the button On/Off).
• The machine will display a padlock symbol or LOC.

Front Load Washer, Front Load Washer Dryer

Note: set option after pressing start/pause touchpad

Activate child lock

Press and hold the ‘Prewash’ touchpad for 2 seconds until the display shows LOC.

Deactivate child lock

Press and hold ‘Prewash’ touchpad for 2 seconds until the display shows unL

Top Load Washer

Note: set option after pressing start/pause touchpad

Activate child lock

Press and hold ‘lock touchpad for 2 seconds until the display shows the padlock icon.

Deactivate child lock

Press and hold ‘lock touchpad for 2 seconds until the display shows the padlock icon disappears in the display.

Heat Pump Dryer

Note: set option after pressing start/pause touchpad

Activate child lock

Press and hold ‘Extra anti crease’ for 2 seconds until the display shows LOC

Deactivate child lock

Press and hold ‘Extra anti crease’ for 2 seconds until the display shows UnL.

The child lock function activation to ‘on’ or ‘off’ will remain after the appliance is switched off.
