What to do if you Power failure (due to the failure of external power supply)
Applies to
- Chest Freezer
- Vertical Freezer
Solution
Do not open the door /lid
- Frozen food should not be affected if the failure lasts for less than 20 hours and your lid is not opened
- If the power is unavailable for longer, then the food should be removed and eaten immediately or discarded.
- Once power is restored leave closed for a good period for the cooling to be restored before more food is added
