Freezer door pops open - Self-close not working
Issue
Freezer door pops open
Self-close not working
Applies to
- Refrigeration
Solution
This happens when the refrigerator door is closed too quickly, it is normal for the freezer door to momentarily open and reclose.
Self-close not working - Check if your appliance has self-closing hinges as not all models do
If the freezer door stays open, it indicates the appliance needs to be installed tilted backwards a little further.
Wind the large height adjusting nut under door hinge until the refrigerator is tilted back by 10mm (see diagram).
