Solution
Understanding water from a fridge
- The first 250 ml is normally water in the door or dispenser and is not cooled
- Most fridges have a tank 1 ltr of less and can take 4 hours to cool this water
- average water temp out of a fridge is 10 degrees
- most fridge provided filtered water cooler then tap water for ice cold water Add ice to cup or container before dispensing water.
- water temp is related to fridge temp the cooler the fridge is the cooler the water is, check the fridge temperature settings
As warmer tap water goes through the filter and enters the water supply system, the chilled water is pushed through to the dispenser. Once the chilled water is used up, it will take several hours to bring the freshly replaced water to a cooler temperature.
